On Monday, December 28th I went to Universal Studios to Participate in their “Grinchmas.” As you guys know I love kids, so I jumped at the opportunity to read them “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” I totally thought it would be in some small room with like 15 kids…turns out I read in front of 1700 people! I showed up and they were like “hey Stephanie, lets get you backstage while the bleachers fill up!” I died! Stage?! Bleachers?! Say what?! haha! I was terrified! But it went great and I got through the tongue-twisting story just in time to catch the last showing of Water World aka the best show ever! Universal Studios is awesome- I rode the Mummy Ride probably 15 times and got drenched on Jurassic Park… good times

Lo and I went to the store opening of the cutest new Lingerie store! Its called Undrest. Its on Robertson blvd in LA, right near the famous Kitson! The lingerie is so girly and sexy with a very parisian vibe! I also got some really cute dainty little gloves made out of the same lace that Chanel uses! I’m a total nerd for mentioning fabrics, but when you go to fashion school and take classes on fabric- it becomes interesting! haha!

On a very rainy saturday I attended the Official Launch Party for Chuy Bravo’s (from Chelsea Lately on E!) “Little Nugget Foundation.” Here’s a little bit of information on his amazing charity. In the past six years, drug use in Mexico has risen by over 30% and more than 62% of the violent crimes in Mexico are drug and alcohol-related. Drug dealers are offering free doses to young children hoping to create a new generation of users. Girls as young as 12 years old are getting hooked on crack and resorting to prostitution to support their drug habit. The Little Nugget Foundation was formed to address the growing problem of drug and alcohol addiction in Mexico. Founded in 2009 by Chelsea Lately’s Chuy Bravo, a recovering addict himself, the Foundation is committed to opening a Drug & Alcohol Rehab Center in Mexico. The Rehab Center, tentatively named “Renaissance Rehab Center,” will help people overcome their addiction and return to living normal and productive lives.

This was one of the coolest things I’ve ever been invited to… I love rap and hip hop so getting to see Snoop Dogg in concert the other night was a dream come true! I went to his 10th album release party! He performed with Travis Barker on the drums, Pharrell, DJ Quik, Nate Dogg and more! Fun Fact: I shared a table with Snoop Dogg’s attorney… haha! PS his new album is called “Malice N Wonderland”.

one of my absolute favorite designers is Julia Clancey (she designed my 2009 VMA dress) so of course I jumped at the chance to celebrate her success at Villa Blanca Restaurant in Beverly Hills. Julia was this seasons designer on America’s Next Top Model! She is the coolest British chick ever… for this party i was told a messenger was going to drop off one of her designs for me to wear that evening… Turns out that she is so down-to-earth she delivered it herself!! So cool when people you admire are just as cool in real life!! I wore some awesome Prada studded shoes with this Julia Clancey dress

As a lot of you guys know, I have started my own handbag line…well its in its VERY early stage (only 4 samples so far). So as you can imagine I have been obsessed with purses since 7th grade, and with their designers! Last year I met Rebecca Minkoff (yes, the amazing handbag designer) by chance at a sample sale. Well being the SWEETHEART that she is, she offered me help!! So throughout the summer I would visit her in New York and she would tell me all about the business, even sharing the insider secrets… i mean really can you get nicer?! Oh and I even met her parents at the fashion show so I could tell them, that they have the most caring, kind, beautiful and talented daughter and she has been a HUGE blessing and role model. So, this picture was actually a party for her new line of clothes!!! Which are just as fabulous as her purses!
