On a very rainy saturday I attended the Official Launch Party for Chuy Bravo’s (from Chelsea Lately on E!) “Little Nugget Foundation.” Here’s a little bit of information on his amazing charity.  In the past six years, drug use in Mexico has risen by over 30% and more than 62% of the violent crimes in Mexico are drug and alcohol-related.  Drug dealers are offering free doses to young children hoping to create a new generation of users.  Girls as young as 12 years old are getting hooked on crack and resorting to prostitution to support their drug habit.  The Little Nugget Foundation was formed to address the growing problem of drug and alcohol addiction in Mexico.  Founded in 2009 by Chelsea Lately’s Chuy Bravo, a recovering addict himself, the Foundation is committed to opening a Drug & Alcohol Rehab Center in Mexico.  The Rehab Center, tentatively named “Renaissance Rehab Center,” will help people overcome their addiction and return to living normal and productive lives.
